The Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league affiliates went 3-3 in five games on Thursday.

Buffalo Bisons 10, Syracuse Mets (NYM) 4

The Buffalo Bisons (41-25) soundly beat the Syracuse Mets again, winning 10-4.

The Bisons had 16 hits as a club, with Tyler White and Riley Adams shining on this night. White was 2/5 with a home run, three RBI, a stolen base and two runs while Adams wasn’t going to be upstaged, going 4/5 with a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs. Cullen Large had three hits, going 3/5 with a run and Richard Urena was 2/5 with a double and a run. Dilson Herrera also had two hits, going 2/3 with an RBI and a run. Logan Warmoth was 1/4 with a walk, two runs and a stolen base and Kevin Smith was 1/4 with a walk and a stolen base.

Zach Logue was very strong through four innings but going into trouble in the fifth. He did finish of the inning, allowing four runs in total, giving up four hits and walking two and striking out eight. John Axford pitched two perfect innings, striking out three and Dany Jimenez struck out two and walked one in the eighth. Trent Thornton struck out one in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7, Reading Fightin Phils (PHI) 6

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (29-36) rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth and walked off with a 7-6 win over the Reading Fightin Phils.

Otto Lopez wa sinstrumental in the victory, going 2/3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and two runs while Austin Martin (2/5, 2 R), Jordan Groshans (2/4, 2B, BB) and Samad Taylor (2/4, BB, RBI) had two hits each. Chavez Young hit his third home run of the year, going 1/4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs while L.J. Talley was 1/3 with an RBI and Vinny Capra, subbing in for Talley, was 1/1 with the walk-off, two-RBI single in the ninth. Kevin Vicuna was 1/5 with an RBI.

Starting was Johnny Barbato who allowed five runs on eight hits (one HR) with six walks and five strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. Marcus Reyes went 2 1/3 innings without giving up a run, stranding the bases loaded and walking two with two strikeouts. Sean Rackoski allowed a run on three hits in the eighth and Kyle Johnston got the win, striking out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 8

The Vancouver Canadians (32-37) offense strugged again, losing 8-2 to the Everett AquaSox.

The Canadians improved on their five hits on Wednesday but only had six hits incluing two from Tanner Morris who also drove in a run. Luis De Los Santos (1/4), Spencer Horwitz (1/4, R), Will Robertson (1/4, RBI) and Ronny Brito (1/3, R) had the other hits.

CJ Van Eyk struck out nine but also allowed three runs on four hits (one HR) and three walks in five innings to take the loss. Adrian Hernandez gave up two runs on two hits (one HR) with two strikeouts in two innings and Hagen Danner walked one in the eighth. Roither Hernandez gave up three runs on three hits (one HR) with one strikeout in the ninth.

Roster Notes: Will Robertson and Hagen Danner were activated off the injured list and John Aiello was placed on the IL.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 3

The Dunedin Blue Jays (30-38) reached the 30-win plateau, beating the Lakeland Flying Tigers 5-3.

Shortstop Orelvis Martinez had another strong game, going 2/3 with two doubles, a walk and an RBI while Miguel Hiraldo was 1/3 with a home run and a walk, driving himself in and scoring twice. P.K. Morris was 1/2 with two walks and a run and Mack Mueller was 1/4 with an RBI and a run. Hugo Cardona was 2/3 with a double and two RBI.

Trent Palmer continues to struggle with his control, walking four in three innings but he allowed just one hit and struck out six. Andrew Bash got the win, going five innings in relief and allowing just two runs on five hits with one walk and six strikeouts while Gabriel Ponce struck out one in the ninth for the save.

Roster Notes: Jose Rivas was sent to the Dunedin Blue Jays from the FCL Blue Jays.

FCL Blue Jays 3, FCL Phillies 7

The FCL Blue Jays (10-7) gave up runs earlly, falling behind the FCL Philles and eventually losing 7-3.

Giving up the first five Phillies’ runs was Jonatan Bernal, who took the loss, allowing five runs (three earned) on eight hits (one HR) with two walks and a strikeout in four innings. Soenni Martinez took over, allowing two more runs on a hit and two walks in two innings before Kelvin Perez struck out three over his two innings of work. Brayan Mejia pitched the ninth, striking out one.

Darlin Guzman went 2/4 with a double, an RBI and a run while Angel Del Rosario also had two hits, going 2/4 with a run and a stolen base. Victor Mesia was 1/2 while Amell Brazoban was 1/4 with a double and an RBI. Adriel Sotolongo was 1/4 and Justin Ammons was 1/1.

DSL Blue Jays 7, DSL D-backs1 11

The DSL Blue Jays’ (2-4) pitching staff took one on the chin, allowing 11 runs to the DSL D-backs1 in an 11-7 loss.

Darwin Cruz started, allowing one run on four hits with three strikeouts in three innings and Johan Simon allowed three runs on five hits with three strikeouts in the fourth. Keiner Leon allowed just one run in two innings, giving up four hits and a walk with one strikeout and Robin De Jesus gave up two runs on two hits with a walk and a strikeout in one inning. Sergio Caruci walked one in two innings, striking out three and Francis Mercedes took the loss, giving up four runs (three earned) in the 10th, allowing four hits and a walk with one strikeout.

While Francisco Fajardo led in hits with three, going 3/5 and stealing three bases, the big thump came from Robert Robertis, who was 2/5 with a home run, a walk, an RBI and two runs. Yhoangel Aponte also had a couple of hits, going 2/3 with a walk and two runs and Luis Garcia was 2/3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run. Cristian Feliz also had two hits, going 2/4 with a walk and two RBI while Martin Gimenez was 1/5 with a double and two RBI. Manuel Beltre was 0/5 but drove in a run on a sac fly.
