The Buffalo Bisons dominated the Syracuse Mets to pick up their 78th win as the season enters its final weekend.

The Buffalo Bisons’ (78-47) beat up on the Syracuse Mets 12-1 on Friday.
Right fielder Gregory Polanco continues to shine down the stretch for the Buffalo Bisons as he went 4/5 with a home run, two RBI, a walk and two runs in the big win. Mallex Smith hit a home run in his second consecutive game, going 2/5 with a walk, three RBI and two runs while Otto Lopez was 2/5 with a sac fly, an RBI and a run. Juan Graterol was 2/4 with a walk, two RBI and a run and Logan Warmoth was 1/4 with a walk, two RBI and a run. Christian Colon hit a double, going 1/5 with an RBI and two runs while Cullen Large was 0/1 with a walk and a run and Nash knight was 0/2 with a walk, coming in for Large. Kevin Smith was 1/3 with two walks.
Starter Bowden Francis had a strong game, despite walking five in five innings, he struck out six and gave up just a hit without giving up a run. Kyle Johnston allowed a hit and struck out one in his inning while Fitz Stadler walked one in his inning. Curtis Taylor surrendered a run on two hits in the eighth and A.J. Cole finished, striking out one in the ninth.
