Buffalo Bisons 3, Pawtucket Red Sox 1
Chris Rowley went eight strong innings in a 3-1 victory for the Buffalo Bisons over the Pawtucket Red Sox. Rowley struck out six and allowing just a solo home run to Adam Lind among five hits without walking anyone to earn his fifth win of the season. Jake Petricka struck out a batter in the ninth to earn his second save of the season.
Roemon Fields was 2/4 with a triple and an RBI and was caught stealing. Reese McGuire was 1/2 with an RBI and Darnell Sweeney was 1/3 with an RBI and a run, stealing a base.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 11, Portland Sea Dogs 6
Thomas Pannone returned to Double-A to make his second rehab start and it was much better, helping lead the Fisher Cats to an 11-6 win over the Portland Sea Dogs. Pannone allowed a run on five hits and a walk over four innings, striking out five. Danny Young gave up four runs in the fifth, allowing four hits and a walk with one strikeout. Kirby Snead pitched in the sixth and started the seventh, allowing a run on three hits and two walks with one strikeout over 1 1/3 innings while Craig Breslow allowed a walk and struck out one in one inning. Andrew Case surrendered just a hit over 1 2/3 innings.
Harold Ramirez was 3/4 with a double and three RBI, scoring a run while Jon Berti was 2/5 with two doubles and an RBI, scoring twice. Juan Kelly was 2/4 with an RBI and a run and Ryan Hissey was 2/4 with a solo home run and two runs. Connor Panas also hit a three-run home run, going 1/4. Jonathan Davis followed up his cycle with a 1/3 game, taking a walk, driving in a run and scoring once, stealing his 19th base of the year.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Florida Fire Frogs 2
The Dunedin Blue Jays were locked into a zero-zero tie with the Florida Fire Frogs until the eighth inning in which each club scored a run, then in the top of the 10th, the Blue Jays scored two and the Fire Frogs could only match with one, giving the Blue Jays a 3-2 win in 10 innings. The pitching was on point for the Jays on this day, with Angel Perdomo tossing five scoreless frames, allowing only five hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts. Juliandry Higuera went an inning, walking two and giving up a hit and Andy Ravel followed with a scoreless seventh. Jackson McClelland gave up a solo home run among two hits in the eighth, allowing the Fire Frogs to tie up the game despite striking out a pair and Ty Tice tossed the final two innings, getting the win, allowing an unearned run on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
The Blue Jays had just six hist including a single, walk and RBI from Joshua Palacios while Eduard Pinto was 1/5 with an BI. Kevin Smith was 1/5 with a triple and Alberto Mineo had a single. Riley Adams was 1/3 with a walk and a double and Rodrigo Orozco was 1/4 with a double and a run.

Lansing Lugnuts 6, Lake County Captains 2
The Lansing Lugnuts won again, getting their offense powered by a couple of home runs on the back of a strong pitching performance by Donnie Sellers in a 6-2 win over the Lake County Captains. Sellers went six innings, allowing just one run on two walks and three hits (including a solo home run) while striking out eight. Andrew Deramo allowed a run on three hits and a walk in 1 2/3 innings, striking out two and Dany Jimenez picked up the save, stranding two inherited runners and tossing the final 1 1/3 innings, allowing two hits with two strikeouts.
Brandon Grudzielanek was 3/4 with a home run and a walk, scoring twice while Brock Lundquist hit the club’s other home run, going 1/5 with a three-run shot in the fourth inning. Samad Taylor was 2/5 with two stolen bases and Ryan Gold was 2/3 with a walk and a stolen base. In his first game in Lansing, Jesus Navarro was 1/3 with a sac fly and an RBI.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Tri-City Dust Devils 9
The Vancouver Canadians couldn’t find any part of their game, as they committed three errors, had just six hits and allowed 17 hits and nine runs to the Tri-City Dust Devils in a 9-2 loss. Randy Pondler allowed the first five runs on 10 hits in just three-plus innings of work, walking one and striking out four. Denis Diaz tossed two scoreless frames of his own, but still allowed both inherited runners from Pondler to score. Diaz gave up two hits and a walk in two innings, striking out two. Cobi Johnson allowed two runs on three hits and a walk with one strikeout in the sixth and Juan Nunez gave up two runs on two hits (including a home run) and two walks with three strikeouts in the final three frames.
Bryan Lizardo was 2/4 with a triple and a run but also committed one of the club’s three errors while playing third base. Vinny Capra also made an error on a throw, but was 1/3 with a sacrifice fly and an RBI. Mc Gregory Contreras was 1/4 with an error in left field but he also had an outfield assist and Tanner Kirwer was 1/4 with an RBI and a run.

GCL Blue Jays 4, GCL Yankees West 6
The GCL Blue Jays scored late but two runs in the eighth and two in the ninth weren’t enough to overcome the six runs the GCL Yankees West had in their 6-4 loss. Matt Tracy continues to rehab, going 2 2/3 innings, and allowing just an unearned run on four hits with two strikeouts. Alexander Molina couldn’t get out of the third without giving up another four runs (he only inherited one runner from Tracy), all unearned, on two hits (including a home run) and a walk. Alvery De Los Santos tossed three scoreless frames, giving up three hits and Juan Diaz allowed a run in two innings, allowing three hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
The Blue Jays had just six hits, with Rafael Lantigua getting two in a 2/4 game in which he drove in a pair of runs. Troy Squires was 1/3 with a walk and a run.

DSL Blue Jays 7, DSL Reds 4
The DSL Blue Jays got another great game from Jhon Solarte and beat the DSL Reds 7-4 on Wednesday. Solarte was 2/4 with two doubles and a hit by pitch and scored all three times. Geyber Jimenez was 2/4 with an RBI and Kenny Mauricio hit his first home run of the year, going 2/4 with the solo homer. Alberto Rodriguez was 1/3 with two walks, a double, an RBI and a run. Hanley Acevedo was 1/3 with a double and a walk, driving in a run.
Alexis Carmona started and gave up two runs on four hits and a walk with four strikeouts in four innings. Pedro Padilla struck out one in the fifth and Williams Moreno allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk in three innings with two strikeouts. Jose Brito started the ninth, allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk in 2/3 of an inning, striking out two before Jeison Contreras retired the final batter, coming in with two runners on.
