The Blue Jays’ affiliates went 2-3 on Thursday.
Buffalo Bisons 1, Rochester Red Wings 3
Three runs in the first inning off of Murphy Smith were enough for the Rochester Red Wings to defeat the Buffalo Bisons 3-1. Smith allowed three runs in four innings, giving up four hits and a walk with one strikeout. Rhiner Cruz followed twith two innings of scoreless ball, allowing a hit and a walk with one strikeout. Jake Petricka gave up four hits and a walk over two innings without giving up a run and Justin Shafer walked one and struck out two in the ninth.
Richard Urena was 2/4 with a stolen base for the Bisons and Danny Jansen was 1/2 with two walks, a double and an RBI and Roemon Fields and Tim Lopes each had a double. Anthony Alford came out of the game after a walk with back tightness and Rowdy Tellez was lifted after he failed to run out a pop up.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Akron RubberDucks 0
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored three times but it was T.J. Zeuch who made those two of those three unnecessary by dominating the Akron RubberDucks in a 3-0 win. Zeuch threw just 86 pitches over eight innings, getting 15 groundouts and only three fly outs, giving up two hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Jose Fernandez got the save, walking two in the ninth.
The Fisher Cats had just five hits with Jon Berti, Harold Ramirez, Gunnar Heidt, Connor Panas and Juan Kelly getting singles.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Charlotte Stone Crabs 6
The Dunedin Blue Jays lost again to the Charlotte Stone Crabs 6-4 on Thursday. Logan Warmoth was 2/3 with an RBI and a run and David Jacob had a pair of hits including a double and an RBI. Riley Adams was 1/3 with a double and a walk and Kevin Smith was 1/5 with his third home run with the D-Jays.
Zach Logue allowed five runs over five innings, surrendering three home runs among eight hits and a walk with one strikeout. Juliandry Higuera struck out three over two innings, allowing a run on two hits. Jake Fishman struck out one in the eighth and Jackson McClelland gave up just a hit in the ninth.

Lansing Lugnuts 3, Lake County Captains 4
The Lansing Lugnuts scored two runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game but ultimately lost 4-3 to the Lake County Captains in the bottom of the 10th. Matt Morgan hit his first home run of the year, going 1/2 with a walk and two RBI. Yeltsin Gudino was 2/4 with a run while Brandon Grudzielanek was 2/4 with a double and an RBI.
Maverik Buffo allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits (including a home run) with five strikeouts. Claudio Custodio allowed the winning run in the 10th but after two solid innings before that. He finished with one unearned run allowed, giving up two hits and one walk with one strikeout in 2 1/3 innings.

DSL Blue Jays 6, DSL Reds 3
The DSL Blue Jays scored one run in the eighth and four more in the ninth to come away with a 6-3 win over the DSL Reds. Rainer Nunez was 1/5 with a grand slam and Jhon Solarte had three hits including a double and a run while Miguel Hiraldo was 2/4 with a double and a walk. Pedro Hurtado was 2/5 with a double and two runs and Kenny Mauricio hit a single and drove in two runs.
Santos Moreno struck out 10 batters in five innings of work for the Blue Jays, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits. Eliezer Bello gave up a hit and two walks in his inning and Jhoan Dominguez allowed two hits in two innings. Jeison Contreras allowed a hit and a walk, picking up the save in the ninth inning.
