The Blue Jays minor league teams went 2-5 on Thursday with the only wins coming from the top and the bottom of the organization.

Buffalo Bisons 6, Lehigh Valley IronPigs (PHI) 5

The Buffalo Bisons (36-24) walked it off in the bottom of the ninth, thanks to a Kevin Smith double, beating the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 6-5.

Smith was 2/5 with a home run and the game-winning double, driving in two runs and scoring once, stealing a base. Breyvic Valera was 3/5 with a double, two RBI and a run. Richard Urena was 1/3 with a double, a walk and two RBI. TylerWhite was 1/3 with a walk and Juan Graterol was 1/4. Logan Warmoth was 0/2 with two walks, two runs and stolen base.

Jacob Waguespack was solid to start, allowing just a hit over three innings, striking out three. Nick Allgeyer surrendered two runs on four hits (one HR) with a walk in 2 1/3 innings and Joel Payamps allowed another two runs on two hits (one HR) in 2/3 of an inning. Jeremy Beasley allowed one hit in 2/3 of an inning and Kirby Snead surrendered a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout in 1 1/3 innings. Bryan Baker got the win with a scoreless inning and two strikeouts.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 5

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (26-33) gave up just three hits but lost 5-2 to the Hartford Yard Goats.

Simeon Woods Richardson struck out nine in 4 2/3 innings but walked five and allowed four runs on two hits (one HR) to take the loss. Brody Rodning allowed a run on one hit (one HR) and a walk in 1 1/3 innings and Sean Rackoski struck out one in his inning of work and Mike Ellenbest struck out two in the eighth.

Demi Orimoloye was 2/4 with a double and Chris Bec was 2/3 with a walk. Reggie Pruitt was 1/4 with a double and two RBI while Vinny Capra was 1/3 with a double and a walk. Kevin Vicuna was 1/4 with a run.

Vancouver Canadians 4, Hillsboro Hops (ARI) 7

The Vancouver Canadians (31-32) were downed 7-4 by the Hillsboro Hops.

Third-baseman Ronny Brito had a huge game, going 3/4 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs. Philip Clarke also had three hits, going 3/4 with a double and two runs. Sebastian Espino was 2/4 and Tanner Morris was 1/4. D.J. Neal was 1/4.

Starter Nick Fraze went two scoreless innings, allowing a hit and striking out three. Brian Rapp allowed four runs (one earned) on two hits (one HR) and a walk with one strikeout in two innings. Willy Gaston gave up another two runs on two hits with a walk and a strikeout in two innings. Connor Law gave up a run on one hit and Roither Hernandez struck out two in the final inning.

Roster Notes: Sam Ryan was placed on the 7-day injured list and Nick Fraze was activated off the 7-day injured list.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Clearwater Threshers (PHI) 3

The Dunedin Blue Jays (25-37) couldn’t keep their winning streak going, losing 3-1 to the Clearwater Threshers.

The Blue Jays had just five hits, with Dasan Brown going 1/3 with a double and a run while Addison Barger was 1/3 with a double, a walk and RBI and Miguel Hiraldo was 1/3 with a walk and a stolen base. Mack Mueller was 1/4 with a double and Steward Berroa was 1/4 with a stolen base. P.K. Morris was 0/2 but walked twice and stole a base.

Sem Robberse allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks, striking out one in four innings. Juan De Paula went three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out one and Thomas Ruwe walked one and struck out three in the eighth.

FCL Blue Jays 3, FCL Phillies 10

The FCL Blue Jays (6-5) dropped the first game of a double header, losing to the FCL Phillies 10-3.

The Blue Jays had 10 hits, getting two each from Rikelvin De Castro (2/4, 2B, R), Darlin Guzman (2/4, 2B, RBI, R), JJ D’Orazio (2/4, RBI) and Rainer Nunez (2/3, BB, R). Peniel Brito was 1/3 with a walk and Adrian Montero was 1/3.

Michael Dominguez started on the mound, giving up a run on three hits (one HR) with four strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings and Stephen Vargas finished off the third but allowed five runs on three hits with a walk in 2/3 of an inning. Marc Civit surrendered four runs on three hits (one HR) and three walks in 1 2/3 innings and Brayan Mejia allowed a hit and a walk with a strikeout in 1 1/3 innings.

FCL Blue Jays 4, FCL Phillies 6

The FCL Blue Jays (6-6) dropped their second game of the day, losing 6-4 to the FCL Phillies.

Gabriel Martinez was 2/3 with a double, a stolen base and a walk while Jose Rivas was 1/3 with a double, an RBI and a run. Angel Del Rosario was 2/4 with two runs and two stolen bases while Yhon Perez 1/2 with a walk and Justin Ammons was 1/3 with a run.

Dahian Santos couldn’t get out of the first inning, giving five runs (four earned) on three hits and two walks with one strikeout in just 2/3 of an inning. Bejardi Meza walked three and allowed a hit but kept the Phillies off the scoreboard (but did allow two inherited runners to score) and struck out three in 3 1/3 innings and Edgar Castro allowed a run and gave up three hits with a walk and a strikeout in the final two innings.

DSL Blue Jays 7, DSL Reds 3

The DSL Blue Jays (2-1) won their second consecutive game, beating the DSL Reds 7-3.

Francisco Fajardo was 2/3 with two runs and a stolen base while Luis Bullon was 1/2 with two RBI and a run. Jonathan Peguero was 1/2 with a double and Victor Arias was 1/2 with two walks and a run. Luis Garcia was 1/3 with a walk, as was Cristian Feliz. Yhoangel Aponte was 1/5 with two RBI and Robert Robertis was 1/5 with a double and three RBI. Manuel Beltre was 0/3 but walked twice and scored.

Cristopher Castro started and went three scoreless innings, allowing just a hit and striking out four. Gabriel Ochoa walked three and struck out two in his inning of work and Robin De Jesus allowed three runs on two hits and four walks in 2/3 of an inning. Keiner Leon came in stopped the bleeding and walked one and struck out one in 1 1/3 innings. Neiyerbe Obeso allowed two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in three innings, earning a save.
