The Buffalo Bisons had their 12-game win streak snapped as the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league teams went 0-4 on Saturday.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Syracuse Mets (NYM) 10
The Buffalo Bisons (68-43) lost again, falling 10-2 to the Syracuse Mets on Sunday.
The Bisons had just one hit, a single by Kevin Smith who was 1/4 with an RBI and a run. Christian Colon was 0/3 but drove in a run and Cullen Large walked twice, going 0/2.
Starter Bowden Francis allowed four runs on five hits (three HR) with a walk and five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. Travis Bergen took over in the sixth and struck out one in 2/3 of an inning. Fitz Stalder was rocked for four runs on five hits and one walk in 2/3 of an inning, striking out one while Hobie Harris surrendered two runs on two hits (one HR) with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings. Curtis Taylor allowed a hit and struck out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 8, Spokane Indians (COL) 4
Rafael Lantigua hit a pair of home runs to lead the Vancouver Canadians (54-60) to an 8-4 win over the Spokane Indians.
Lantigua had three hits, going 3/4 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs while Trevor Schwecke also had three hits, going 3/3 with a double, a walk and a run. Will Robertson was 2/5 with a double, and a run and Andres Guerra was 2/4 with an RBI and a run. Davis Schneider was 1/4 with a double, two RBI and a run and Philip Clarke was 1/2 with two walks and a run. Tanner Morris was 1/4 with a walk and a run.
Starter Alejandro Melean allowed two runs on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings and Hayden Juenger struck out two, allowing a run on two hits in 2 1/3 innings. Roither Hernandez gave up an unearned run on a hit in the eighth, striking out one and Hagen Danner surrendered just a hit in the ninth with one strikeout.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 2
The Dunedin Blue Jays (54-59) got another home run from Addison Barger as they beat the Tampa Tarpons 4-2.
Barger was 2/4 with a home run, two RBI, a sac fly and a run while PK Morris was 2/3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run. Steward Berroa walked three times and stole two bases, scoring a run and Miguel Hiraldo was 1/4 with a double and a walk. Harrison Ray was 1/4 with an RBI and Victor Mesia was 1/4.
Starter Naswell Paulino went 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks, striking out six. Jimmy Burnette struck out four in 1 2/3 innings, allowing a hit and a walk while Matt Svanson struck out five of the seven batters he faced, throwing two hitless innings, just hitting a batter. Julian Valdez saved the game, with a strikeout in the ninth, giving the Blue Jays’ pitchers 16 Ks on the game.
