It was a soggy day in the northeast as only two Blue Jays minor league affiliates completed their games, losing all three.

 

Buffalo Bisons, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders (NYY)

 

The Buffalo Bisons and Scranton/Wilkles-Barre Railriders had their game suspended with the Bisosn up 2-0 in the fourth.



 

New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Somerset Patriots (NYY)

 

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats had their game against the Somerset Patriots rained out. It will be made up as a part of a double header on Thursday, May 27.

 

Vancouver Canadians 3, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 7

 

The Vancouver Canadians (12-8) scored three runs in a game for the second time in a row, falling 7-3 to the Everett AquaSox.

CJ Van Eyck was on the mound to start for the Canadians and he took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits with two walks in four innings of work. Marcus Reyes gave up his first runs of the year, surrendering three over three innings, allowing four hits and one walk with two strikeouts. Cobi Johnson walked two over two innings and struck out three to finish it off.

The hitters had just six hits but walked nine times in the loss. Davis Schneider hit his second home run of the year, going 1/4 with the solo blast while Luis De Los Santos was 2/4 with a run. Tanner Morris was 1/3 with a walk and a run while Tanner Kirwer was 1/4 with a double and a walk. Cameron Eden stole his team-leading 15th base, goin g0/4 with a walk while Phil Clarke and Eric Rivera both walked twice.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 7

 

The Dunedin Blue Jays (6-14) lost again to the powerhouse Yankees affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons, falling 7-1.

The Blue Jays had just four hits (and eight walks) with a double from Addison Barger (1/2, BB) and singles from Orelvis Martinez (1/3, BB), Leonardo Jimenez (1/2, 2 BB, R) and Miguel Hiraldo (1/3, BB). Jhon Solarte was 0/1 with two walks.

Jol Concepcion didn’t fare badly on the mound, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits (one HR) and three walks with one strikeout in four innings to take the loss. Patrick Murphy pitched a rehab inning and gave up a run on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts while Jiorgeny Casimir allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits (one HR) and two walks with two strikeouts in two innings.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 3

 

The Dunedin Blue Jays (7-14) won the second game of their double header against the Tampa Tarpons, closing it out with a 4-3 win after scoring four runs in the first.

Miguel Hiraldo went 2/3 with a run and a stolen base while Addison Barger was 2/3 with a double and a run. Jhon Solalrte was 1/3 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run and Zach Britton was 1/1 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and a run and was also hit by a pitch. Jose Ferrer was 1/3 with an RBI while Steward Berroa was 1/3 with a stolen base.

Alejandro Melean got the start and was excellent, allowing no runs on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in three innings to get the win. Julian Valdez gave up three runs but only one was earned, allowing two hits (one HR) and a walk with one strikeout in one inning. Adrian Hernandez struck out six and walked two in the final three innings.
