The Blue Jays went 3-2 overall on Friday with wins coming from New Hampshire, Dunedin and the DSL Jays.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Columbus Clippers 6
The Buffalo Bisons mounted a comeback in the last two innings, taking a 5-4 lead over the Columbus Clippers only to see the lead evaporate in the bottom of the ninth as the Clippers went on to a 6-5 win. Rowdy Tellez got the Bisons on the board with a two-run double in the top of the eighth, going 1/4. Lourdes Gurriel was 3/5 with an RBI and a run while Danny Jansen was 2/5 with a run. Reese McGuire, playing DH, was 2/3 with a walk and a run and Anthony Alford was 1/4.
Ryan Borucki didn’t figure into the decision, pitching 5 2/3 innings and allowing three runs on five hits (including two home runs) and four walks with three strikeouts. Dusty Isaacs stranded two runners in the sixth but allowed a run in the seventh, surrendering a hit and two walks with one strikeout in 1 1/3 innings. Nick Tepesch pitched a scoreless eighth, giving up a hit and a walk with a strikeout and Conor Fisk took his first loss with the Bisons, allowing two runs on three hits (including a home run) with a strikeout in 2/3 of an inning.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Akron RubberDucks 2
T.J. Zeuch went seven innings as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Akron RubberDucks 4-2. Zeuch allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with two strikeouts before Jose Fernandez pitched a scoreless eighth, walking one and striking out one. Andrew Case got two outs in the ninth but loaded the bases with two hits and a walk before Danny Young struck out the final batter of the game to earn the save.
Bo Bichette went 3/4 with a single, double and triple, scoring a run and Harold Ramirez homered in his second consecutive game, going 2/4 with the home run and three RBI. Gunnar Heidt was 3/4 and Juan Kelly was 1/3 with a walk.

Dunedin Blue Jays 8, Fort Myers Miracle 6
Five runs in the seventh inning gave the Dunedin Blue Jays an 8-6 win over the Fort Myers Miracle on Friday night. Kevin Smith continues to swing a red-hot bat, finding his rhythm after his promotion to Dunedin with a 3/4 night, adding a walk, driving in two and scoring twice. David Jacob, just activated off the DL was 2/5 and Ivan Castillo was 2/5 with two runs and was caught stealing. Rodrigo Orozco was 1/3 with two walks and a run while Nash Knight was 1/5 with a double and two RBI.
Angel Perdomo struck out 10 in the start, going six innings but giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk. Connor Eller allowed two more runs in his inning and Jake Fishman earned his first save of the season, allowing a hit and striking out two in two innings.

Lansing Lugnuts 3, Fort Wayne TinCaps 9
The Lansing Lugnuts left Kentucky and headed to Indiana, falling to the Fort Wayne TinCaps 9-3. Ryan Noda continues to be red hot, hitting his third home run in the last two games (and fourth of the season), going 1/3 with a walk and the solo shot. Yeltsin Gudino was 2/3 with an RBI and Samad Taylor was 1/3 with a double and a run.
Matthew Gunter started, giving up four runs on four hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings before Andrew Deramo stranded the bases loaded but gave up three runs of his own in one inning. Brody Rodning gave up two runs (one earned) in 3 1/3 innings, allowing two hits and a walk with two strikeouts and Dany Jimenez struck out one in a perfect ninth.

DSL Blue Jays 7, DSL White Sox 2
Miguel Hiraldo led the DSL Blue Jays to a 7-2 victory over the DSL White Sox on Friday. Hiraldo was 4/5 with a double, two home runs, two RBI, three runs but also two errors. Rainer Nunez went 3/5 with a double, an RBI and a run. Alonso Concepcion was 1/1 with three walks and two runs.
Lazaro Estrada had an excellent game, giving up one unearned run through five innings, allowing two hits and striking out seven. Miguel Olivo got the win, allowing just one hit in two innings with two strikeouts. Williams Moreno went a scoreless inning, striking out two and William Gonzalez gave up a run on a hit and a walk in the ninth, striking out one.
