Canadian righty Phillippe Aumont struggled with his control for the Buffalo Bisons, walking six and striking out four in a four-run outing that lasted four innings. Ben Rowen threw two scoreless innings in relief while Greg Infante allowed a run in his inning of work. Colt Hynes and Steve Delabar split the eighth inning to finish the game.

The heart of the order had a good game for the Bisons with the club getting two-hit games from Matt Hague (who leads the International League in several offensive categories), Alex Hassan (2/4, 2B, BB, RBI) and Andy Burns (2/4, R), who was also credited with an error.
