In six games across the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system, the clubs went 5-1 on Thursday.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (NYY) 3
The Buffalo Bisosn (60-41) came up with a 5-3 win on Thursday against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
DH Christian Colon had a strong game, going 2/4 with a home run and a double, driving in a pair of runs and scoring once. Josh Palacios also had two hits, going 2/4 with a walk. Otto Lopez was 1/4 with an RBI and a run, stealing a base while Tyler White was 1/3 with two walks and a run. Cullen Large was 1/4 with a double and an RBI and Kellin Deglan was 1/3 with a double and a walk.
Lefty Zach Logue went five scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out five for the win. Rafael Dolis (1 IP, 1 K), Travis Bergen (1 IP, 2 K), and Ryan Borucki (1 IP, 3 K) each provided a scorless inning of relief. Fitz Stadler gave up three runs on two hits and a walk in 2/3 of an inning before Jacob Barnes came on to save it, retiring the only batter he faced.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 3
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (49-51) fell 3-1 in a tight game to the Portland Sea Dogs.
Elvis Luciano started, allowing two hits and two walks with a strikeout in 2 2/3 innings. Connor Law finished the third, facing just one batter and Nick Fraze took the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts in three innings. Jon Harris threw two scoreless innings, allowing a hit and striking out one and Brandon Eisert struck out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 5, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 2
The Vancouver Canadians (49-56) played a solid game, beating out the Everett AquaSox 5-2 on Thursday.
At the plate, catcher Philip Clarke was strong, going 3/5 iwth a double and two runs while Tanner Morris was 2/4 with a sac fly and an RBI. Spencer Horwitz was 1/3 with a sac fly and two RBI and Davis Schneider was 1/4. Zac Cook was 0/2 but walked, had an RBI and scored.
Righty Adam Kloffenstein started and allowed two runs on two hits (one HR) with three walks and five runs in 5 2/3 innings, leaving a runner on for Justin Maese. Maese allowed that runner to score, giving up a hit and a walk in 1 1/3 innings. Roither Hernandez allowed a hit and struck out one in one inning and Hagen Danner struck out two in the ninth for the save.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Palm Beach Cardinals (STL) 1
The Dunedin Blue Jays (48-56) opened their double header with the Palm Beach Cardinals with a 4-1 win.
Dasan Brown had a pair of hits, going 2/3 with two runs and an outfield assist while Zach Britton was 1/3 with a double and two RBI. Mack Mueller was 1/2 with a double and a walk, scoring a run and Leonardo Jimenez was 1/2 with a walk.
Trent Palmer continues to show the good form that he’s found since about the midway point in the season, allowing just a run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings. Harry Rutkowski allowed a hit and struck out one in the final two innings for the save.

The Dunedin Blue Jays (49-56) finished their double header with a sweep of the Palm Beach Cardinals with a 7-1 win.
Addison Barger was 2/3 with two RBI and two runs, stealing a base while Hugo Cardona was 2/3 with an RBI and a stolen base. Steward Berroa was 1/2 with a double, two runs, a walk and a stolen base and Leonardo Jimenez was 1/2 with a walk and a run. Mack Mueller was 1/3 with an RBI and Garrett Spain was 1/3 with a run. Zach Britton was 0/3 with an RBI and a run while PK Morris was 0/2 with an RBI, a run and a sac fly.
Michael Dominguez had a strong outing, allowing just a run on three hits (one HR) with a walk and nine strikeouts in five innings. Hunter Gregory allowed a hit in one inning and Elixon Caballero went one inning, allowing a hit and a walk with one strikeout.

DSL Blue Jays 4, DSL Padres 3
The DSL Blue Jays (21-13) played a tight game with the DSL Padres but the two runs they scored in the bottom of the seventh proved to be enough for a 4-3 victory.
Martin Gimenez was 3/3 in the game with a stolen base while Francisco Fajardo was 2/4 with an RBI and a run. Luis Garcia was also 2/4 while Yeuni Munoz was 1/4 with a double and a stolen base. Manuel Beltre was 1/4 with two RBI and a stolen base and Victor Arias was 1/4. Yhoangel Aponte was 1/4 with a run and Jonathan Peguero was 1/4 with a run and a stolen base.
Darwin Cruz was solid on the mound, allowing just two runs on six hits (one HR) with a walk and four strikeouts in six innings. Jean Lopez allowed an unearned run on three hits with two strikeouts in three innings for the win.
