The Blue Jays’ minor league teams won three of four games on Tuesday.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Columbus Clippers 7
Sean Reid-Foley was in line for his first win in Triple-A but the bullpen collapsed and the Columbus Clippers handed the Buffalo Bisons a 7-5 loss. Reid-Foley struck out 10 batters, giving up three runs (all in the first inning) on five hits and one walk, but three of those hits and the one walk came in that three-run first inning. Murphy Smith gave up a hit and a walk but no runs in two innings and Al Alburquerque gave up a solo home run to the only batter he faced. Sam Moll relieved Alburquerque and gave up three more runs in the ninth on four hits before getting out of the inning.
Lourdes Gurriel hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and was 2/4. Jason Leblebijian was 2/3 with a walk and Anthony Alford was on base three times, going 1/3 with two walks, an RBI and a stolen base. Rowdy Tellez was 1/4 with a double and Reese McGuire scored a pair of runs, going 1/3 with a walk.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 11, Portland Sea Dogs 2
Saint Vladdy went deep for the 11th time as the Fisher Cats put an 11 on the board and defeated the Portland Sea Dogs 11-2. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was 1/5 with three RBI. Six other Fisher Cats contributed two hits each including a 2/2 games by Gunnar Heidt, who took over from Aledmys Diaz (who was 0/3) with two RBI and a run. Bo Bichette also had a pair of hits, scoring twice and driving in a run while stealing two bases. Max Pentecost (2/5, 2B, RBI, R), Juan Kelly (2/5, 2B, RBI, R), Harold Ramirez (2/4, RBI, 2 R) and Andrew Guillotte (2/3, 2B, 3B, BB, RBI, 3 R) also had two hits each. Jonathan Davis was 1/3 with a walk and Cavan Biggio was 1/5.
Josh DeGraaf got his first win with the Fisher Cats this year, going 5 2/3 innings, and allowing only two runs on five hits (including a home run) while striking out eight. Jose Fernandez walked two and struck out two in 1 1/3 and Dusty Isaacs finished the game, throwing two scoreless innings, allowing only a hit and striking out one.

Dunedin Blue Jays 8, Florida Fire Frogs 2
The Dunedin Blue Jays’ offense opened up for eight runs on 10 hits to beat the Florida Fire Frogs 8-2 in their series opener. All of the Blue Jays’ lineup had hits with Eduard Pinto going 2/5 with a walk, a run, and a stolen base but he was caught stealing twice. Nash Knight walked three times, going 1/3 with an RBI and two runs. Kevin Smith, making his Dunedin debut, was 1/4 with two walks and a run while Ivan Castillo drove in three runs, going 1/5. Bradley Jones (1/4, RBI, BB), Kacy Clemens (1/4, 2B, BB, RBI), Riley Adams (1/2, BB, RBI, 2 HBP), Joshua Palacios (1/4, BB RBI, R) and John La Prise (1/4, 3B, BB, 2 R) all had a hit and a walk.
Zach Logue also made his Dunedin debut, tossing 4 2/3 innings while giving up just one unearned run on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Connor Eller pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings while Jackson McClelland walked two in the seventh. Ty Tice earned his second save with the D-Jays, striking out three in two innings but giving up a run on a hit and a walk.

Lansing Lugnuts 10, Lake County Captains 1
A day after getting shut out, the Lansing Lugnuts’ hitters rebounded by blasting the Lake County Captains by a 10-1 score. The Lugnuts took advantage of four Captains errors (all but two of their runs were unearned) but also got three hits from Chavez Young who was 3/4 with a walk, an RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Kevin Vicuna was 2/4 with a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs and Cullen Large was 2/5 with an RBI and a run. Brandon Grudzielanek hit a triple, driving in a run and Ryan Noda (1/3, BB, 2B, R) and Andres Sotillo (1/4, 2B, 2 RBI, R) each hit a double.
Maverik Buffo scattered eight hits and one run (on a solo home run) with one walk for the win over seven innings, striking out two. Andy Ravel pitched a scoreless eighth, giving up two hits and Dany Jimenez struck out the side in the ninth.
