As the Blue Jays’ minor league teams continue to make up games lost due to weather early in the season, the Buffalo Bisons swept a double header and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats also boasted a win as the minor league system went 3-2.

Buffalo Bisons 11, Rochester Red Wings 2

Jordan Romano made his Buffalo debut, coming up to Rochester to pitch the first game in a double header (before a what I’ve heard is a planned trip back to New Hampshire) and he wound up with his first Triple-A win as the Bisons hammered the Red Wings 11-2. Romano struggled a bit with his control, walking four batters but found a groove, giving up two runs on four hits with three strikeouts through five innings before Sam Moll took over with one hit in two innings to finish it off.

Richard Urena looks to be finding his swing, going 3/5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs. Roemon Fields was 2/3 with two walks, an RBI and two runs and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was 2/4 with a double. Ian Parmley also had a pair of hits, going 2/4 with two RBI and a run. Darnell Sweeney was 0/2 but walked twice and scored twice, stealing a base.
