While the DSL Blue Jays and Bluefield Blue Jays were rained out, the GCL Jays got a double header in and the organization as a whole was 4-3 with two wins in the GCL and victories from Vancouver and Dunedin.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Louisville Bats 6
Despite rallying for single runs in the eighth and ninth innings, the Buffalo Bisons fell 6-5 in their opener against the Louisville Bats. T.J. House was on the mound and went five innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts to take the loss. Wil Browning allowed a run on one hit with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings while J.P. Howell made another rehab appearance, striking out two in an inning of work. Andrew Case gave up a solo home run, which was the only blemish on his 1 2/3 innings.
Michael Saunders was 2/5 with a run and Roemon Fields, taking over for Darrell Ceciliani (who continues to struggle with injury) was 2/4 and was caught stealing. Gregorio Petit (2/5, 2B, RBI, R), Raffy Lopez (2/4, BB, R), Jake Elmore (2/4, R) and Shane Opitz (2/4, 2 RBI) all had two hits. Rob Refsnyder was 1/2 with a double and a walk before coming out of the game (perhaps coinciding with the injury to Troy Tulowitzki to get a head start on a trip to Toronto) and was replaced by Jason Leblebijian. Jon Berti hit a solo home run, going 1/4 .

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 0, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 1
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats couldn’t rally behind Ryan Borucki‘s outstanding pitching performance, losing to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 1-0. Borucki went seven innings, giving up just one run on three hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. Dusty Isaacs struck out a pair in the eighth, throwing a perfect inning.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Charlotte Stone Crabs 3
The Dunedin Blue Jays defeated the Charlotte Stone Crabs by a 5-3 score on Friday. Toronto-born Connor Panas was 3/3 with a walk, two RBI and run, leading the 11-hit attack while Bo Bichette was 2/5 with a stolen base and Vladimir Guerrero was 1/2 with three walks and three runs. Jake Thomas was 2/4 with an RBI and D.J. Davis was 1/4, driving in two runs and stealing a base.
John Straka started on the mound, going five innings and giving up just two unearned runs on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Alonzo Gonzalez went 2 2/3 scoreless frames, walking a batter and striking out three. Kirby Snead earned the save, allowing a run on two hits with one strikeout in 1 1/3 innings.

Lansing Lugnuts 1, Dayton Dragons 3
Andy Ravel had a strong start that was wasted as the Lansing Lugnuts couldn’t come up with enough offense to win, losing 3-1 to the Dayton Dragons. Ravel went six innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits without walking anyone and striking out five. Denis Diaz gave up just one hit and struck out three in two innings of relief and Geno Encina pitched a perfect ninth to finish the game.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Tri-City Dust Devils 1
The Vancouver Canadians rallied to come from behind and beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 2-1 on Friday. Dalton Rodriguez had a very strong start, going seven innings and allowing just two hits and two walks, totalling one unearned run. William Ouellette got his sixth save, allowing a hit and striking out three over two innings.
Reggie Pruitt was 3/4 with a run and was caught stealing while David Jacob was 3/4 with an RBI. Cullen Large had the other RBI, going 1/4 while Riley Adams was 1/4 with a run and Owen Spiwak was 1/3 with a walk and a stolen base.

Bluefield Blue Jays, Bristol Pirates
Double header postponed due to rain.
GCL Blue Jays 12, GCL Tigers West 4
The GCL Blue Jays beat up the GCL Tigers West, beating them 12-4 in the first half of a twin bill. Alvery De Los Santos got the win, despite giving up two home runs and four runs on seven hits and a walk in five innings, striking out seven. Maverik Buffo allowed two hits and nothing more in two innings of relief, striking out three.
Dominic Abbadessa pushed his batting average to .370 with a 4/4 game, scoring four times, driving in two and stealing a base. Christian Lopes made his return to action, starting a rehab assignment and going 2/3 with a triple, a home run, two walks, three runs and four RBI. Another rehabbing player, Reese McGuire, was 2/4 with a double and three RBI, scoring once. Luis De Los Santos was 2/4 with an RBI. Otto Lopez and D.J. Neal were each 1/3 with a walk and two runs.

Roster Notes: Christian Lopes was sent to the GCL Blue Jays to begin a rehab assignment. Angel Alicea was promoted to Vancouver.
GCL Blue Jays 9, GCL Tigers West 2
The GCL Blue Jays were convincing in their dominance over the GCL Tigers West when the completed the sweep of the double header, winning 9-2 in the second game. Jose Theran hit two doubles, going 3/5 with two RBI and two runs while Otto Lopez also had three hits, going 3/4 with two RBI and a run. Dominic Abbadessa added two more hits to his tally for the day (giving him six in total), going 2/5 with a triple, an RBI and two runs. Davis Schneider was on base three times, going 1/2 with a double and two walks, driving in one and scoring twice. Jonelvy Molina was also 2/3 with a double, a walk and an RBI.
Travis Bergen had another successful rehab outing, striking out two in an inning that was marred only by hitting a batter. Joi Concepcion walked six in his three innings but struck out five and gave up just two hits and one run (on a solo home run). Emmanuel Reyes gave up a hit and three walks over two innings, striking out four and Juan Meza allowed a run on three hits in the seventh.
