Buffalo Bisons 7, Charlotte Knights 3

The Buffalo Bisons rallied for two runs in each the eighth and ninth innings, getting past the Charlotte Knights. Scott Copeland‘s strong start was almost wasted as Steve Delabar allowed two runs to score. Copeland went five innings, allowing only a solo home run to cross the plate, giving up five hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Delabar struck out three over two innings but gave up two runs, blowing the save but also earning the win when the Bisons rallied to take the lead. Colt Hynes (1/3 IP) and Ryan Tepera (1 2/3 IP, BB, 2 K) combined to finish the game.

Jon Berti drove home three runs, going 2/3 with a bases-clearing double and a walk to lead the way. Matt Hague was 2/4 with a walk and an RBI while Roemon Fields, newly promoted to Buffalo, was 1/4. Dalton Pompey walked twice and stole a base.
