The Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league clubs had a 2-4 day on Tuesday.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 4

The Buffalo Bisons (56-37) opened their series with the Worcester Red Sox with a 4-2 loss.

Starter Nick Allgeyer was touched up for four runs in 4 2/3 innings, giving up seven hits and three walks, striking out two. Hobie Harris finished the fifth inning uneventfully, getting one out and Rafael Dolis allowed a hit and a walk with a strikeout in the sixth. Travis Bergen walked one and struck out two in the seventh while A.J. Cole allowed a hit in the eighth. Anthony Castro struck out two in the ninth.

Catcher Danny Jansen made an appearance in a rehab start, although he started as the DH, and was 1/3 with an RBI on a sac fly. Tyler White was 2/3 with a walk and an RBI while Christian Colon was 1/4 and Juan Graterol was 1/3 with a walk.

Roster Notes: Danny Jansen was sent to Buffalo on a rehab assignment.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) 1

Luis Quinones continues to roll through Double-A, putting up another dominant start as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (45-47) beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 2-1.

Quinones tossed six scoreless innings and only struck out three, but allowed three hits and three walks in the win. Johnny Barbato allowed a run on a hit (one HR) with four strikeouts in two innings and Adrian Hernandez got the save, striking out one in the ninth.

Chavez Young was 1/1 with a double, a walk, a run and a stolen base while Kevin Vicuna drove in a run with a sac fly, going 0/2. Samad Taylor was 1/4 and Vinny Capra was 1/4 with a run. Jordan Groshans was also 1/4.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Hillsboro Hops (ARI) 8

The Vancouver Canadians (44-53) couldn’t match the Hillsboro Hops, losing 8-2 to open their series.

Spencer Horwitz had another couple of hits, going 2/4 while Eric Rivera was 2/3 with a walk and an RBI. Will Robertson was 1/4 with a solo home run and Tanner Morris and Luis De Los Santos were both 1/4 with a walk.Sebastian Espino was 1/3 with a walk.

Sem Robberse had a decent start, allowing three runs on three hits (one HR) with a walk and four strikeouts in six innings. Will McAffer was charged with five runs on five hits (one HR) and a walk with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings and Jol Concepcion gave up a hit in 2/3 of an inning.

Dunedin Blue Jays 2, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 12

The Dunedin Blue Jays (43-53) took one on the chin, falling 12-2 to the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

Dasan Brown was 1/3 with a walk and a run while Miguel Hiraldo was 1/4 with a run. Zach Britton was 2/4 with an RBI and Riley Tirotta was 1/4. Mack Mueller was 1/3 with a walk and Steward Berroa was 0/3 but walked and stole his 43rd base of the season.

Alejandro Melean allowed five runs on five hits (one HR) with three walks and six strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. Elieser Medrano gave up three runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk in 1 1/3 innings. Harry Rutkowski was lit up for three runs on a hit and three walks with one strikeout and Elixon Caballero allowed a run on a hit and a walk in 2/3 of an inning to finish it off.

Roster notes: Riley Tirotta, Justin Ammons and Dasan Brown were activated off the 7-day IL while Juan De Paula was placed on the IL. Glenn Santiago and Jose Rivas were both sent back to the FCL Blue Jays.

FCL Blue Jays 4, FCL Tigers East 6

The FCL Blue Jays (18-19) had their record drop below .500, falling 6-4 to the FCL Tigers East.

Rehabbing Brock Lundquist went deep again for the second game in a row, going 1/4 with a two RBI. Adriel Sotolongo was 2/4 with a run and a stolen base. Rikelvin De Castro was 0/1 but walked twice and drove in two runs. Trevor Schwecke was 1/3 with two runs and a stolen base.

Julian Merryweather made anotehr rehab appearance, striking out one of the four batters he faced. Geison Urbaez allowed four runs on five hits with two strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings and Bejardi Meza gave up just a hit and a walk with three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. Guillermo Villasmil allowed two runs on two hits with a walk in the eighth inning.

DSL Blue Jays 2, DSL Orioles1 1

The DSL Blue Jays (17-11) got a well-pitched game, beating the DSL Orioles1 2-1.

Cristian Feliz was 1/3 in the seven-inning game, hitting his fourth home run of the year, driving himself in. Manuel Beltre was 1/1 with a double and a walk, was hit by a pitch, drove in a run and stole a base (but also got caught stealing) while Francisco Fajardo was 1/2 with a run and a stolen base.

Eliander Alcalde started, allowing just one run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts while Francis Mercedes pitched a clean sixth and Yondrei Rojas got the save, allowing a hit in the seventh.
