In five games in the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system, the club was 4-1.

Buffalo Bisons 3, Syracuse Mets 1

The Buffalo Bisons (55-34) rode Zach Logue‘s strong outing to a 3-1 win over the Syracuse Mets.

Logue threw 84 pitches over 5 1/3 innings, notching his sixth win in Triple-A, allowing just one run on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts. Dany Jimenez finished the sixth, striking out both batters he faced and A.J. Cole allowed a hit in the seventh. Carl Edwards Jr. struck out two in the eighth and Bryan Baker picked up his ninth save, allowing a hit and striking out one in the ninth.

Forrest Wall led off and was 2/4 with an RBI and a stolen base while Josh Palacios was 2/4 with a run. Cullen Large was 1/3 with a walk and Richard Urena was 1/4 with a double and an RBI. Juan Graterol was 1/4 with a run and Logan Warmoth was 0/2 but walked and scored. Tyler White was 0/3 but drove in a run with a sac fly.

Roster Notes: Rafael Dolis was sent to Buffalo outright by the Blue Jays.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 5

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (44-46) fell 5-3 to the Hartford Yard Goats despite an outstanding game from Chavez Young.

Young was 3/4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and a run while Ryan Gold was 2/4 with a double. Vinny Capra was 1/3 with a walk and two runs. Jordan Groshans was 1/4.

Elvis Luciano faced four batters, gave up a hit and struck out three in his first start since coming off the IL. Nick Fraze gave up two runs on five hits (two HRs) with a walk and five strikeouts in 4 1/ 3innings and Connor Law struck out one in 2/3 of an inning. Brody Rodning allowed two more runs on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings and Graham Spraker allowed a run on two hits with a walk in 2/3 of an inning.

Vancouver Canadians 5, Tri-City Dust Devils (LAA) 2

The Vancouver Canadians (43-51) played a solid game, beating the Tri-City Dust Devils 5-2.

Spencer Horwitz remained hot, going 2/4 with a double and a home run, driving in one and scoring once. Tanner Morris was also 2/4 with an RBI and a run and Philip Clarke was 1/4 with double and a run. Eric Rivera was 1/3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run and Zac Cook was 1/3 with an RBI and a run.

CJ Van Eyk continues to pitch well and had a solid five innings, allowing two runs on four hits (one HR) with two walks and six strikeouts. Willy Gaston shut down the Dust Devils, allowing just two hits and two walks over three innings, striking out two and Jol Concepcion walked two but nailed down the save in the ninth.

Roster Notes: Cobi Johnson was placed on the 7-day injured list and Trevor Schwecke was sent to the FCL on a rehab assignment.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (MIN) 4

The Dunedin Blue Jays (42-51) scored in the bottom of the 10th to walk off with a 5-4 win over the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.

Miguel Hiraldo led the offense, going 3/4 with a double, an RBI, two runs and a stolen base. PK Morris was 1/4 with a double, a walk and an RBI while Addison Barger was 1/5 with an RBI. Harrison Ray was 1/5 with an RBI and Mack Mueller was 1/2 with a triple, a walk and a run. Garrett Spain was 1/4 and Hugo Cardona was 1/4 with a stolen base and a run.

Michael Dominguez started, going 4 2/3 innings and striking out six but allowing two runs on four hits and three walks. Jefferson Herrera went 2 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits (one HR) with a walk and a strikeout and Juan De Paula allowed a hit in 2/3 of an inning. Elixon Caballero walked one and struck out two in the final 2 1/3 innings to get the win.

FCL Blue Jays 4, FCL Yankees 1

The FCL Blue Jays (17-18) got three runs in the sixth to beat the FCL Yankees 4-1.

Gabriel Martinez had a pair of hits, going 2/4 with an RBI while Rainer Nunez was 1/2 with an RBI. Emmanuel Sanchez was 1/2 and Angel Del Rosario was 1/2 with a run and a stolen base. Brock Lundquist was 1/2 with an RBI. Trevor Schwecke made a rehab appearance, going 0/2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run.

Dahian Santos started, striking out seven in just three innings, allowing two hits and two walks. Wilgenis Alvarado didn’t allow a hit, striking out four in three innings and Cesar Ayala finished the game, allowing a run on a hit and three walks with two strikeouts in three innings.
